I had visited GKB Opticals Alwarpet recently for changing my prescription glasses. Mr. Hariprasad (Store manager) welcomed me in to the store. I told him what I was looking for. He helped me pick my frame in a matter of minutes. I found him to be an easily approachable and friendly person who carries a pleasant smile on his face. I wanted to get my eyes tested prior to confirming the lens and Dr. Sreejita Dutta Gupta (Optometrist) was available. She was kind and patient to clarify all my queries.
My experience at the RK Salai branch was nothing short of spectacular. The store has a wide range of frames to choose from and will recommend this store. 💯💯

One of my finest experiences I had in my 30 years of eye test followed by wearing spectacles for my vision correction. This is GKB Opticals at Alwarpet. The store in charge Mr Sivakumar takes personal care in ensuring all aspects of an anxious Customer. I should certainly mention about Mr Vignesh the person who tested my eyes in GKB. The detailing and the alternatives he proposed during the 30 minutes of my eye test, gave immense confidence that I am going to get the best solutions for my vision correction. I recently visited GKB Opticals(Alwarpet) and had a great experience, thanks to the excellent service provided by Mr. Hariprasad. I was initially confused about selecting the right lenses and frames, but he patiently guided me with his soft and polite demeanor. During the trial, when Mr. Hariprasad was unavailable, one of his colleagues Mr.Sai Shankar stepped in to assist me, and he was equally patient and polite. I have nothing but praise for the store manager at the time of my purchase Mr. Hariprasad - Knowledgeable, kind and extremely professional. Please ask for him if you are planning to visit the place.
He gave me the best possible price for an expensive frame that generally is never discounted. But what impressed me the most is when he offered to service my existing frame and he did an excellent job fixing my warped titanium frame.
And I have to also add, the staff who did the eye test for me was very good and within minutes gave me a prescription. I cannot comment on the quality of lenses but I have no reason to doubt their expertise and service.
