We went to GKB Mylapore opticians with our friends who have been happy with the service there for 15 years.
Our eyes were tested and my husband chose his new frames. I always struggle to get glasses to fit my narrow face so they selected ones to suit me and they were light and comfortable. The service was excellent. We felt royally looked after. Today we picked up our glasses and fittings were checked. Overall very pleased with the whole process. Thank you to Vijay Baskar and his team.

I have been a client of GKB Mylapore for 15 years . I have had excellent service from them.
Staff Vijabaskar and Karthik go out of their way to serve me, very polite and great help. Optician Siva is always spot on.
Now I have grown to trust their judgments in choosing my specs every time I visit them.
I just had 2 pairs done recently. This time I took a couple of my UK friends who bought their specs too and were very satisfied.
A great team and good service always.
Though I have GKB branch near my house I like to go to Mylapore branch as I get not only a good service but also good advice in choosing the right frame and glasses.

For the past 10 years or so i always visit GKB, situated on Dr Radhakrishnan Road Mylapore for vision testing and buying my glasses.
The ambiance is nice and soothing.
All the staff are professionals and well mannered. I particularly want to mention your optometrist Shiva who is one of the best in his class. Earlier i used to go to some other shops but after my eyes were tested by Shiva i was very much impressed by his professionalism and well mannered and friendly behaviour.
I have suggested a few of my friends also to GKB.

They have good frames and marketing team. But once there was once misaligned lenses (they promised it would be done in a method I suggested which is common), so went to Titan Eye Plus (that is opposite nearby) to get new lenses because they did not even bother about my complaint nor did they care about the Rs4000 I payed for those lenses. But titan, they took care of it and they put really good lenses (that are aligned) in 3800rs 👌👍.
I gave 3 stars for the frames because they are kinda good here.
